Will skies be clear over southern Ontario Sunday night?
Cloudy skies are expected, except for several hours of clearing skies overnight following a cold front and deep mid-and upper-level moisture moving eastward from southern Ontario, and ahead of low-level moisture (illustrated below for late evening and for early Monday) which is forecast to move over southwestern regions during late evening and over regions near GTA early Monday. The gap of partly clearing skies may last for a duration of  few hours.

Mostly cloudy skies are expected due to upper-level moisture moving over southern Ontario overnight (illustrated below for late evening) as well as more substantial mid-level moisture over southwestern regions, but the high-level cloud may be thin enough in eastern regions (approximately near, north and east of the GTA) during early evening to allow Jupiter and the brighter stars to be visible and give the appearance of partly clear skies.

Mostly cloudy skies are likely by late evening, due to widespread mid-level moisture (illustrated below for late evening), except for occasionally partly cloudy skies where breaks in the moisture allow bright moonlight to be visible and give the impression of clear skies. The first hour of darkness is more likely to be partly clear, followed by increasing cloudiness.
