Will skies be clear over southern Ontario Wednesday night?
Cloudy skies are expected during the evening until a cold front moves across southern Ontario, and then clearing skies are likely beginning before midnight in southwestern Ontario and later over regions further east, such as the GTA. Some mid-level clouds are likely to be visible after the cold front passage, due to mid-level moisture gradually moving eastward overnight (illustrated below for early Thursday) and lots of lake-effect low cloudiness is likely over regions south and east of Lake Huron following the frontal passage.
