Cloudy skies are expected this evening due to lots of high-level moisture moving eastward over southern Ontario (illustrated below for late evening), followed by gradually clearing skies (with gradually less high-level cloud) before morning. The high cloudiness during the evening may occasionally be thin enough to allow bright moonlight to give an impression of clear sky, but generally widespread cloudiness is probably a better description.
