Will skies be clear over southern Ontario Monday night?

Mostly cloudy skies are likely, except for partly clear skies after midnight over some regions. Mostly cloudy skies are expected during the evening due to moisture moving northeastward across the eastern Great Lakes region (illustrated below for mid-evening) but high cloudiness will also be present due to jetstream-level moisture over southern Ontario (illustrated below for early evening).

Mostly cloudy skies are likely during the evening, followed by partly or mostly clearing skies beginning in southwestern regions later in the evening as cloud and moisture associated with a low pressure trough move eastward from southern Ontario after midnight.

Cloudy skies are expected over most regions during the evening, due to high-level moisture over southern Ontario (illustrated below for early evening), followed by clearing skies later in the evening over southwestern regions and near midnight near the GTHA regions, as the high-level moisture moves eastward from southern Ontario after midnight.

Mostly clear skies are likely during the evening over most regions, except for southwestern Ontario where high clouds are likely to be visible, caused by jetstream-level moisture (illustrated below for mid-evening) and except for some low-level clouds that may appear over all regions, caused by moisture from Lake Huron.After midnight, increasing mid-level cloudiness is expected over southwestern regions due to increasing mid-level moisture (illustrated below for early Friday) and high clouds are likely to be over most of southern Ontario by morning.

Partly clear, partly cloudy skies are expected over most regions during the evening and midnight period, due to some mid-level moisture (illustrated below for mid-evening) until cloudiness moves southeastward over southern Ontario during early morning ahead of Tuesday’s low pressure trough and warm front.

Will skies be clear over southern Ontario Wednesday night?

Skies will most likely appear to be mostly cloudy during the night due to high cloudiness caused by high-level moisture over southern Ontario (illustrated below for early evening). Bright moonlight and the brighter stars may appear through the high cloud and give the impression of partly clear skies. After midnight, decreasing cloudiness and increasingly clear skies are likely to develop as the high-level moisture gradually moves eastward from southern Ontario, except for southwestern regions where low-level lake-effect cloud south and east of Lake Huron is likely to cause cloudiness during most of the night.

Partly cloudy skies are expected during the evening, due to low-level moisture (illustrated below for early evening) causing some low-level cloudiness, mainly over regions south and east of Lake Huron.
Later in the night, increasing cloudiness is expected, due to increasing mid-level moisture which is forecast to move eastward over southern Ontario during early morning (illustrated below for Monday morning).

Will skies be clear over southern Ontario Friday night?

Clear skies are likely over southwestern regions, but partly or mostly cloudy skies are likely during the evening over regions southeast of Lake Huron, due to low-level moisture (illustrated below for mid-evening) and cold northwesterly winds across Lake Huron causing lots of low-level cloudiness. Later in the night, decreasing cloudiness and increasingly clear skies are expected as warmer air begins moving over southern Ontario and lake-effect cloud formation diminishes.
