Will skies be clear over southern Ontario Wednesday night?

Skies will most likely appear to be mostly cloudy during the night due to high cloudiness caused by high-level moisture over southern Ontario (illustrated below for early evening). Bright moonlight and the brighter stars may appear through the high cloud and give the impression of partly clear skies. After midnight, decreasing cloudiness and increasingly clear skies are likely to develop as the high-level moisture gradually moves eastward from southern Ontario, except for southwestern regions where low-level lake-effect cloud south and east of Lake Huron is likely to cause cloudiness during most of the night.
