Mostly cloudy skies are expected, due to widespread high clouds caused by jetstream-level moisture spreading northward over southern Ontario (illustrated below for early evening) although the high cloud may occasionally be thin enough to allow the moon and brighter stars to be easily visible anbd give the impression of clear sky.
