Will skies be clear over southern Ontario Friday night?
Mostly cloudy skies are likely except for the GTHA and areas near, west and north of western lake Ontario, where only jetstream-level thin cloud is expected and thicker mid-level moisture (illustrated below for late evening) is not likely to move eastward over these regions until about midnight. With the jetstream over southern Ontario, some high, thin cloud is likely to be visible at sunset and may be visible during the early and mid-evening in the regions not under the thicker mid-level moisture.
