Partly clear and partly cloudy skies are expected, due to clearing ahead of a large high pressure ridge west of the Great Lakes, but partly cloudy due to lots of low-level moisture over southern Ontario (illustrated below for early evening) especially south and east of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.
